Project Description
MAN UP INSIDE RADIO is an audio adaptation of NPP’s live theatre performance, MAN UP INSIDE.
This Radio Play, accompanied by a facilitated workshop, follows the story of Liam, a 34 year old prisoner as he struggles with the pressure of coming to the end of his long sentence, rekindling old relationships, and the reality of life after jail.
MAN UP INSIDE RADIO is for general population prisoners, and their family members, which focuses on the improvement of offender mental wellbeing, & stigma reduction surrounding mental health in men, in order to take full advantage of support services available whilst in prison.
Co-developed with the NPP Team, men in prison with lived experience, their family members & HMPPS mental health teams, MAN UP INSIDE has engaged with over 1900 men in prison across the UK.
Ideal for group or solo listening, this project is COVID safe.
